Product description
High-end bouldering and climbing requires a lot of tension to be able to keep your body against the wall, sometimes in difficult positions. Voltage climbing shoes by Red Chili give you the basis you need for this.
The Voltage is aggressive, with an imposing downturn and real heel tension – however, the flat rubber band that pulls the heel forward won’t test the wearer’s pain tolerance.Fortunately, the shoes are very comfortable and the heel tension does exactly what it is supposed to, i.e. optimally transfers tension from the whole body. Voltage perform very well on small holds, and the RC-Tension midsole creates enough stability in these otherwise quite soft shoes. You will need a fair bit of power in your calves for tiny holds, at least with a frontal approach.
The Vibram XS soles stick to the surface with extra grip and also give sensitive feedback. The Ultra Grip Toe Patch in the toe area and the specially modified heel shape are perfect for tricky toe and heel hooks.Slightly wider feet, in particular, will appreciate the broad, anatomically shaped lasts. Voltage was developed with the aim of building a shoe with high heel tension that gives toes space but also the best possible support: Tension in the foot without cramping and pain.
The perfect combination of tension, sensitivity and support – that’s Voltage. Electrify your performance in training and at competitions!
