Product description
Double-certified half rope for extreme tours
With a weight per metre of only 36 g, the Gully 7.3 from Beal is the lightest half rope on the market. It’s also certified as a twin rope. Its extremely low weight and very low impact force make the Gully 7.3 the ideal rope for ice climbing, alpine climbing and the most demanding terrain.
It boasts the UNICORE technology, which bonds the sheath and core together, offering safety even if the sheath is damaged. In addition, the Golden Dry core and sheath coating certifies the rope as UIAA Water Repellent.
Warning: both belaying and abseiling require caution. The very thin diameter of the rope requires the use of compatible belay devices. It is only suitable for expert users with experience handling thin, smooth ropes.
Service life of the rope
Beal ropes have a service life of maximum 15 years from the date of manufacturing (5 years storage + 10 years use). Depending on the frequency of use or damage, the service life will be reduced.
