Product description
The water-repellent half rope Tendon Alpine 7.9 C.I.A.P is available in short lengths of 20m and 30m and in coils of 200m. It is perfectly suited for ‘short roping? and an array of other activities in the mountains. Short roping is basically when a guide moves together with a client over technical or dangerous terrain. They are joined by a rope for additional protection and security.
Whether it’s short or long, used as a half rope, double or twin rope, it has everything you need and barely weighs a thing.
Equipped with the Complete Shield technology, which is a nanotechnological method involving Teflon in the form of very small particles, the rope will repel dirt and moisture, making it very durable. So, the rope is perfectly suited for ice climbing and use in snowy conditions. According to the manufacturer, this treatment will also significantly increase the lifespan of the rope.
In addition, the core and sheath are connected to form once unit at the ends of the rope. This will prevent the sheath from separating from the core, an occurrence that could have very drastic consequences. What’s more, thanks to the Tenote Technology, it is now possible for you to access specific data on your rope using your mobile or computer. This feature could really come in handy after a few years of heavy use.
