Product description
Durable and weatherproof winter boots with GORE-TEX
membrane
The Women’s Torne 2 Biosole GTX from Icebug are tall winter boots that offer reliable protection against moisture and cold temperatures up to -30 degrees thanks to the combination of sheep’s wool and the integrated GORE-TEX membrane in the collar. The upper is made of a bluesign-certified polyester mesh with LWG-certified suede. A Mudguard extends around the boots to protect your feet from mud and moisture. In addition, these boots are equipped with a special lining that perfectly insulates your feet against the cold coming from below thanks to the mixture of reflective aluminium (that reflects your body heat) and a soft fleece material.
With biosole outsole
The Biosole outsole is made of natural rubber instead of synthetic rubber, reducing the dependence on crude oil. The ecological footprint of natural rubber is only half as big as synthetic rubber. The Biosole material consists of 90% petroleum-free components, 62% of which consist of natural rubber. This composition provides optimal traction all year round and remains flexible in all temperatures. In addition, the outsole is super abrasion-resistant for increased durability.
The highlights at a glance:
- Warm and durable winter boots
- With waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX membrane
- Insoles made of BLOOM algae foam EVA and fabric layer made of wool
- Heel and toe cap reinforcements made of Milspeed material (60% recycled plastic, 11-13% of which recycled nylon fishing nets)
