Product description
The Contact 9.8 from Petzl is built for sport and alpine climbing. The supple single rope is guaranteed to lie perfectly in your hands, which enhances comfort whilst belaying. It features an abrasion resistant and non-slip sheath, so even increased rock contact won’t shorten the rope’s lifespan. Plus, it has a 9.8 mm diameter, which makes it easy to handle, and it can be used with almost all belay devices.
Another great feature includes the coloured middle mark. This allows you to quickly notice the centre for enhanced safety on long pitches and whilst abseiling. Most importantly, the Contact 9.8 has a special coil, so you won’t need to unwind the rope before the first use.
